Bob Blackmore

Chairman

Bob Blackmore co-founded Studio One with Andrew Susman in 1998. He is the former executive vice president of the NBC television network, where he was responsible for all sales and marketing for more than 12 years. Blackmore is a past chairman of the board of directors of the American Advertising Federation and now serves on its Chairman's Advisory Council. He has also served as chairman of the International Association of Sales and Marketing Professionals and as chairman of the Global Research Institute.  He has worked with the Amateur Athletic Union Junior Olympic Games. On top of all of that, Blackmore is an inventor and patent holder in the visual-aids field.

 

Andrew Susman

President and CEO

Andrew Susman co-founded Studio One in 1998 with Bob Blackmore. As the CEO, he is in charge of the organization's quality, productivity, and competitive position. Previously, Susman was an executive at Time Warner and Young & Rubicam. He is the Chair of the Interactive Advertising Bureau's Content Marketing Congress, which functions as the central resource for the industry. In addition, he serves on the boards of the Advertising Educational Foundation, and Business for Diplomatic Action. A native of Missouri, he is also a National Rifle Association qualified sharpshooter and is a major supporter of the ASPCA.

 

Peter Sikowitz

EVP, Content and Programming

Peter Sikowitz oversees the development of editorial content and programming. He has been a consultant, content strategist, editor and editor in chief online and in print at Men's FitnessArthur Frommer's Budget Travel and Time Inc. His articles have appeared in The New YorkerEsquireThe New York TimesSports IllustratedHarper's Bazaar and other publications on a range of subjects. A winner of numerous awards for his editorial work, Peter admits to spending way too much time blogging and taking photos of New York City street life to feed his digital addiction.

 

Ira Pastor

Director, Product Development

Ira Pastor is responsible for the technology platforms that enable Studio One’s content marketing solutions. He has extensive experience in product management, project management and technical consulting and has successfully conceptualized, driven and delivered many complex, concurrent, high profile efforts. Ira holds an MBA degree from New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business and holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Science. Ira spends most of his spare time with his family, and tinkering with his two vintage automobiles.

 

Sarah Baird

Director of Human Resources and Business Operations

Sarah Baird joined the Studio One team in 2009. She is responsible for the day to day operations of the company as well as its talent recruitment and development. Her passion for editorial and reaching consumers was developed at the University of Miami where she studied Advertising and worked for Student Publications as the Editor in Chief of the Ibis. Sarah is a member of Advertising Women of New York, Society for Human Resource Management, and the New York Junior League. In her free time she enjoys traveling, sailing, and cheering on the Miami Hurricanes.

Tim Robertson

Tim Robertson most recently served as president and CEO of International Family Entertainment (IFE), best known for its flagship cable network, The Family Channel. While at IFE, Robertson pioneered significant investments and developed strategic relationships, that ultimately led to the sale of the company in August 1997 to Fox Kids Worldwide Inc. for $1.9 billion. After taking IFE public in 1992, Robertson built The Family Channel into one of America's most-watched cable networks. The company also grew to include MTM Entertainment Inc., which was involved in development, production and distribution of television series and other programs throughout the world -- and FiT TV, the only 24-hour cable network dedicated to health and fitness. He has served on the boards of a variety of cable and industry groups, such as the Cable Television Advertising Bureau, National Academy of Cable Programming and National Cable Television Association, which presented him with the prestigious Vanguard Award for Young Leadership. Robertson was appointed by Virginia governor James Gilmore in 1998 to the Governor's Blue Ribbon Commission on Higher Education. He is a member of the Board of Visitors for the University of Virginia.

 

Ivan Braiker

Ivan Braiker is currently the President of Hipcricket.Mr. Braiker joined Hipcricket in 2004 as their Chief Executive Officer. Hipcricket is a mobile marketing and advertising company that works with brands, agencies and media properties to reach and engage consumers across mobile channels. Hipcricket is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Augme Technologies. Ivan began his 30 years in broadcast media as an account executive with a CBS
television affiliate in Las Vegas, but soon became co-owner and operator of a radio station there. In 1976, he took a position heading Belo Broadcasting’s radio division, where he was recognized as a successful major-market General Manager. He later co-founded and was president of Satellite Music Network, the first radio network to distribute live, 24-hour programming via satellite — an innovation that earned him Billboard Magazine’s “Trendsetter of the Year” award. In the interim, he built a series of radio networks, starting with Olympia Broadcasting,which became one of the first publicly-held radio groups. When Ivan got there, it was a single station; when he left, it held a 15-station portfolio with presences in eight key markets.

 

Mark Pinney

Mark Pinney CFA, is currently the Chief Financial Officer at  Vimeo, a video-sharing website and subsidiary of IAC. Previously Mark was the Chief Operating Officer at Tremor Media, where he oversaw all operations for the company including finance, human resources, business intelligence, business operations, and network development. Mark also previously served as Tremor’s Chief Financial Officer where he was responsible for running the department and securing funding with venture capitalist firms and other investors. Mark has raised over $200 million in venture capital funding over the course of his career.He has also held positions at AOL’s Platform A, where he was the head of business planning. He was previously the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Privacy Officer for behavioral targeting company, Tacoda, which was acquired by AOL in 2007 for $275M. He also served as CFO for Acorda Therapeutics, a biotechnology company, and was Chairman of CanDo, an Internet company offering product and service solutions to people with disabilities. In 1998, he co-founded and was CEO of LifeWire, a company that merged with CanDo in 2000. Mark also co-founded Real Media with Dave Morgan and Gil Beyda, and was its Chief Financial Officer from 1996 to 1998.Mark is a Chartered Financial Analyst, holds a MBA from University of Chicago, and an EE Masters from Columbia University.
